okay I'll answer the first question of discussion 1. I like that story, because the story is very unique where I think the story begins with something romantic and somewhat mysterious. and in the middle of the story it is very tense because a vampire appears, but the ending is very funny.
No 2 I think Emma and David were very happy after the vampire was gone. maybe the debate was to make an alibi in order to be freed by vampires who are sick of listening to the debate.
sorry guys maybe my opinion is different I think Emma and David Will be happy together because in the last sentence in the last paragraph there is the line "Together, as they promised, for the rest of their lives."
